Texas Congressman Ron Paul has repeatedly complained about Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke‘s monetary policy which the 77-year-old representative claims is eroding the value of the greenback. In addition, Dr. Paul has long been a fervent supporter of gold and silver, which tend to go up in price when the dollar weakens against other currencies. It is therefore not surprising to hear that the Texas congressman has invested a large proportion of his wealth in precious metals.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul has no plan to endorse Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, he told CNBC’s Futures Now on Thursday. When he spoke to Fox News a week ago, Dr. Paul told the channel that he was not ready to announce who he would be voting for.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul issued a statement shortly after the Supreme Court announced that it had upheld President Barack Obama‘s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in its entirety. The possibility of a Gingrich-Santorum ticket is once again being discussed as a tactic to prevent former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney from winning the Republican presidential nomination.
Romney comfortably ahead in California no comments
The latest California poll conducted by the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and the Los Angeles Times between March 14 and March 19 showed that former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney was still in the lead, while former Pennsylvania senator Rick Santorum remained in second place.

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich gave a 46-minute speech at the California Republican Convention on Saturday. His address was mainly focused on the price of gasoline, which averages $3.58 a gallon on a national scale but is much more costly in the Golden State.
