Texas Congressman Ron Paul has no plan to endorse Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, he told CNBC’s Futures Now on Thursday. When he spoke to Fox News a week ago, Dr. Paul told the channel that he was not ready to announce who he would be voting for.
Unemployment rate falls below 8 percent no comments

The Department of Labor announced on Friday that the official unemployment rate had decreased from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September. This is the first time in 44 months that the jobless rate has fallen below the eight-percent (8%) mark.
Bloomberg poll: Obama 49%, Romney 43% no comments
A new national survey conducted for Bloomberg News between Sept. 21 and Sept. 24 shows that President Barack Obama would garner 49 percent of the votes were the Nov. 6 election held today. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is currently the favorite of 43 percent of voters. Just over 10 percent of their supporters could still be persuaded to change their minds between now and the contest.

President Barack Obama indicated on Wednesday that he would like to see a 2010 Supreme Court ruling allowing businesses and unions to contribute unlimited amounts of cash towards political campaigns overturned. The court’s decision a couple of years ago encouraged the emergence of super political action committees, or super PACs.

Paul Ryan, went to the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C., on Sunday where around 6,000 people had congregated to hear the new duo talk about the country’s future after Obama. Their visit came only one day after the former Massachusetts governor revealed the identity of his running mate.

President Barack Obama and presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney both commented on the latest jobs statistics published by the Department of Labor on Friday. The data shows that the U.S. economy created 163,000 jobs in July, well above economists’ expectations of 100,000 post creations last month.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul issued a statement shortly after the Supreme Court announced that it had upheld President Barack Obama‘s Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in its entirety. In it, Dr. Paul said that he strongly opposed Thursday’s ruling, but indicated that such a decision was to be expected from a court that has consistently failed to protect civil liberties.
